Our CPR Instructor Certification Courses are designed for professionals, educators, healthcare providers, and motivated individuals who want to teach CPR, First Aid, AED, and BLS classes in their communities or workplaces. With blended learning options, hands-on skill development, and mentorship from seasoned trainers, we make it simple to launch or grow your instructor career.

Two Trusted Instructor Certification Pathways

We offer instructor certification through both leading national programs:

1. Red Cross Instructor Certification

Red Cross CPR Instructor Courses prepare you to teach a variety of courses including Adult and Pediatric First Aid CPR AED, and optional add-ons like Bloodborne Pathogens. The course includes:

  • Online pre-coursework

  • In-person instructor training session

  • Practice teaching and skill demonstration

  • Instructor kit and ongoing support

You’ll receive a Red Cross Instructor Certificate valid for two years and gain access to the Red Cross Instructor Portal for course management and eCard distribution.

2. AHA Instructor Certification

Become an American Heart Association BLS or Heartsaver Instructor and teach in healthcare and community settings. The AHA pathway includes:

  • Completion of the Instructor Essentials course

  • Alignment with an AHA Training Center

  • Monitoring and mentorship by a Training Center Faculty

  • Access to AHA instructor tools and eCard management

AHA Instructors can teach BLS for Healthcare Providers, Heartsaver CPR AED, and First Aid courses. Certification is valid for two years and is widely accepted by employers, healthcare systems, and academic institutions.
